Other Podcasts
While there will never be another new episode of the Big Little Podcast, I’m still committed to helping others produce content. I’ve been very fortunate to have some great podcasting friends and acquaintances who have me on their shows from time to time.
Note: This is not an exhaustive list. I’ll keep adding to it as I find links to old episodes, and go on more.
The Kinky Cocktail Hour, hosted by Saffer Master and Lady Petra is just wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the two of them, and their podcast.
I’ve been on the KCH a number of times, for a number of topics.
Season 1, Episode 44, on “The Big/Little Interview” they first interviewed me about me, the BLP, and the various things I get up to.
Season 1, Episode 194, on “Introducing WeMinder“ we discussed the original version of my behavior chart app, weminder. Saffer and Petra were among my beta testers for the app, and damn good ones at that.
Season 2, Episode 111, on “WeMinder is Live!“ we talk about weminder’s launch, and some of the practical realities of creating kinky apps
Season 4, Episode 8, on “Concerning Littleton“ we talk about my book Concerning Littleton. Saffer and Petra went on to read the book as part of the KCH Book Club, and spent many, many episodes discussing each chapter in detail.
Season 5, Episode 84, on “Esperanto For Kinksters“ we talk about my plan to get kinky people in general, and age players in particular to learn the language Esperanto, and use it as a “cant”, or “lavender language”, a sort of secret discrete language.
Love in Brief is an ABDL advice podcast focused on love: love of self, love of others, and romantic love.
I adore Resonant Yes, RY, who is the host. We’ve been friends for ages, and he was inspired to create LiB by our work on the BLP. I very much consider Love in Brief to be the BLP’s “intellectual heir”. The work he does on the podcast is amazing, and builds on, extends and improves on what Spacey and I did.
Most recently, I was on “LIB 121 - Dealing with Loss & Grief“:
It is so hard to say goodbye to someone you love, whether it is due to a breakup, a change in living situations, a broken friendship, or a death. And how we deal with grief and loss can deeply intersect with our self-care, our sense of intimacy, and our kink life.
On this episode, RY talks one-on-one with Mako, the co-creator and co-host of The Big Little Podcast, about loss and grief, and how we can move through and move forward
I’ve been on LiB, or mentioned by them so many times, it would be too much to list them here. But you can go hear all of them right here.
The folks at American Sex describe their podcast as:
Changing America’s dysfunctional relationship with sex one laugh at a time, this award-winning podcast gets to the meat of what fuels our deepest, darkest turn-ons. Sex isn't just sex; it’s about everything – identity, power, politics, taboos, and the shame our culture thrives on. Recognizing how these elements seep into our bedrooms makes all the kinky, “weird” stuff we’re secretly into seem not so weird after all.
Host Sunny Megatron is an acclaimed Clinical Sexologist, BDSM Educator, and Showtime TV host.
Sunny and Ken are amazing. Funny, insightful, and silly.
Back in 2020, I was on episode 144, “Ageplay and M/s Dynamics”.
Newsie describes his podcast as:
A safe space podcast hosted by Newsiebaby, who attempts to talk about news and niches in the kink community, all while keeping his pants dry (sometimes 😉). This podcast contains content only suitable for ages 18+.
He had me on Season 5, Episode 117, “A Symbol of Ageplay feat. Mako“ to talk all about the Ageplay Pride Symbol
Off the Cuffs is…
a Kink and BDSM podcast, for those in the lifestyle and those who are curious. Each week, hosts Dick Wound and minimus maximus, sit down for a discussion with a new guest, covering topics such as their journey into kink, scenes they’ve been involved in, and the importance of consent and communication. Episodes tackle the entire spectrum of kink, from the sensual to the sadistic, and the bizarre to the vanilla.
They had me on Episode 246, “Ageplay is so Passé”, talking about ageplay and D/s dynamics. Dick and Max are super funny, open-minded, and great.
I’ve known Zorro Daddy for a verrrry long time. He’s a prolific author of ABDL fiction, a community advocate, event organizer, and a good friend. And he describe the 1-on-1 podcast as one where “The gloves are off, but both opinions are still heard.”
He had me on his very first episode, where we talked about a whole lot of stuff, for a very long time.
When Sandra had me on Episode 116 of her show, back in 2012, it was an unusual appearance for me for a few reasons.
First, it was a live, in-person recording, one of the few I’ve done on other people’s shows.
Second, as a Nerdist podcast, it was a whole lot more “vanilla adjacent”, than anything else I’ve ever done.
That didn’t stop us from talking about a whole lot of stuff:
Veruca Salt, Submission Assumptions, Pedophilia, Sissies, Taoism, The Worst Word, Relationships, The Fetish Underneath, Fetish Double Standard, His Big & Little Family, Not-So-Little Girls, Incest Play, Deep vs Skimming Knowledge, Reductive Dirty Talk, The Book Technique, and a whole lotta Sandra taking a moment.
Waaaay back in 2010, Unspeakable Axe had me on the Masocast. Which he describes as “Casual Conversations With Kinky And Sex Positive People”.
Axe is a fantastic guy, with a voice like liquid chocolate. He did us the very great honor of hosting The Anniversary Show episode of our podcast.
When he had me on, we discussed my being “mako-sexual”.
